Honest comparison
Games like Legends of Runeterra: is Street Wars for you?
Legends of Runeterra deserves its reputation: sharp design, real strategic depth, and the most generous economy a major card game ever shipped. But Riot has been open that development now centers on The Path of Champions, its excellent PvE mode, with competitive PvP getting a lighter touch. If what you loved was the ladder — live rivals, real reads, a meta that matters — Street Wars is built around exactly that: fast 1v1 and 2v2 PvP in a browser tab, with an economy generous enough that a Runeterra player will feel at home.
What feels familiar
- A famously generous economy — every card earnable by playing, duplicates refund credits
- Six factions with real mechanical identity, like picking your regions
- Free to play with no pay-to-win — the standard Runeterra set, met
- Live PvP where reading your rival wins matches

Which should you play?
The honest take: Legends of Runeterra is still a beautifully engineered card game, and The Path of Champions is some of the best PvE the genre has produced — if a solo champion crawl is what you're here for, keep playing it; nothing here replaces it. Street Wars is for the other itch: live opponents. Live PvP is the main event — 1v1 Blood Matches and 2v2 Crew Brawls at one shared table, with a solo ladder against AI crews when you want to warm up — in six-turn fights that finish in about five minutes, in a browser, no download, with every card earnable free. Runeterra taught you what a fair economy feels like; we consider that the bar. Come test the PvP side.
Curious? The rules guide takes five minutes, the card gallery shows the whole Season 1 pool, and the game itself is one click away — no download, no account.
