Burn effects strip rival Power — anything driven to 0 or less base Power is destroyed — and the Kings happily torch their own crew too, because their scalers grow stronger for every card of yours that has died. Feed the flames early, then cash the ashes in late.
The starter deck pairs them with Iron Legion steel: shields hold the block while the fires do the work.
